Spring Bulletin Board Ideas Your Students Will Love

Spring is such a fun time to explore all that’s happening in nature. Coincidentally, it’s also the most fun time (in my humble opinion) to put up spring bulletin boards that reflect the discoveries the students are making during their science lessons.

As exciting as spring can be, it is also an equally chaotic and busy time for educators. These simple, no-prep, and easily differentiated bulletin board activities are perfect for the teacher who is low on time but still wants to have a beautiful bulletin board displaying student work.

These spring sequencing and writing activities would be perfect for kindergarten or first grade. The cool thing about sequencing and writing step-by-step directions is that they also apply to primary computer science standards. Students are expected to understand simple algorithms and many of the primary computer science standards are “unplugged”, or taught without the use of technology. At this stage, it’s really about imparting the foundational knowledge of computer science concepts.

Use one or a combo of these activities to create a beautiful and meaningful spring bulletin board: Planting a Tree, Growing a Flower, and Lifecycle of a Butterfly.
